As foreign students, we have the need to learn the language in order to be able to communicate with the patients who we will be examined daily during the clinical based subjects (from the third year and ahead).
The university is providing us classes of Romanian language on the first year of studies.
Eventually, on the beginning of the third year, all foreign students are obligated to pass a Romanian Language Examination which is tax-free, in order to prove their knowledge of the language that will be useful in the hospital.
In case someone fails that examination, the need of a B2 Romanian certificate from specific recognized centers is asked, or the student will have to sit for the examination after paying a needed amount. If the student won’t be able to pass the examinations, he/she will be expelled from the faculty.
